My inspiration as a designer is something I’m frequently asked about.  
I started my career as a fashion stylist here in New York City.  I have always found Manhattan to be the perfect canvas on which to create. There is always a hum on the streets here, a hum that gets into your veins, and motivates you to bring to fruition a dream.

In working for fashion publishing clients like Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, InStyle and a bevy of similar fashion magazines, I found that sometimes the trends being depicted by the fashion mags were not what women really wanted over time.  By helping depict the fashion trend of the moment in my styling career, I learned that often it is the classic design that keeps coming back. Why not design handbags and purses with that in mind? Enduring style with a focus on quality in the choice of materials and production would be the way of defining my designer handbag niche. Fine quality and style without the high prices that some designer labels command to fund their marketing machine.  That’s my market, those are my bags, and that’s what I believe in.  It’s part of why I am able to offer a lifetime repair or replacement warranty on my fine leather handbags and purses.  I personally supervise their construction right here in our factory in downtown Manhattan.  The same artisans who have been making my handbags from the very beginning are the same ones doing it today.  Made in the USA; it’s something I am proud of and it’s a quality that you cannot get in China. Please join me in the effort to show America that there is nothing so expensive as a cheap bag or purse that does not stand the test of time. Thank you for your support.
