September is a month marked in every fashion-lovers calendar. New York Fashion Week brings all the creatives, influencers, designers, models, and even the famous into the New York playground of the fashion world.
As the week draws to a close we are wrapping up all the New York fashion week bag trends you need to watch.
The first trend we always seem to be coming back to is the constant rise of the belt bag. Making a reappearance, the belt bag was a key feature to this seasons street style apparel. Spring’s trend of transparent bags even appeared in the mix of leather belt bags.
Seaside excursions made a splash with cane bags featuring leather straps, perfectly balancing any New York streetscape and making us wish for a trip to the Hamptons.
Possibly one we are most excited about is the leather box/bucket bags that we have been seeing in an assortment of shapes and sizes. Perhaps even more squeal worthy, we spotted a micro leather box bag attached to a belt with a chain (as worn by influencer Aimee Song).
Finally for the vintage lovers and Beacon’s Closet shoppers, the vintage short-strapped carry bag is very very in! Raiding your grandmother’s closet has never been so trendy.
