love NYC style

Updated: Feb 23, 2023

Valentine's Day, held annually on February 14th, is a day to honor love and affection. I'm sure a lot of you guys, including myself, are worried about where to go and what to do. Here is a list of some of my favorite destinations for having fun with friends. If you want to have a good time on Valentine's Day but don't know what to do, you should visit these recommended locations. You will certainly love your time in these places if you appreciate exploring new spots in New York City. It is truly experiencing "Love NYC Style".

The UES Speakeasy

If you want to have a good time and party, you must visit this speakeasy. UES is an ice cream shop with a hidden speakeasy in the back. Once you arrive, you will see a vivid pink neon ice cream cone. It is located at 1707 2nd Avenue in the Upper East Side, and when you arrive, you are instructed to locate a switch buried in the wall that will allow you to enter. This speakeasy is inspired by the Prohibition era of the 1920s, and the drinks are named after famous movies. If you're searching for something different to do on Valentine's Day, this is the ideal place to bring your date or friend. Be sure to verify the dress code and make a reservation!

Flower District :

One of my favorite neighborhoods in New York City is the Flower District. Going for a walk there helps me disconnect from the outside world if I'm feeling stressed and anxious. Given that I reside in the hectic city of New York, the atmosphere in this location is very relaxing. It is situated on 28th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenue. If you're looking for some fresh air this Valentine's Day, this is the place to go. This spot will definitely make you feel peaceful, and you will love looking at the gorgeous flowers.

Skyline Dinner Cruise

This dinner cruise is a great idea for you to take your significant other, because it's a fun and romantic way to celebrate Valentine's Day. A three-hour dinner cruise that offers a breathtaking view of New York City travels along the East and Hudson Rivers. You can look at the three-course romantic dinner menu that is offered. I recommend this location since it offers a one-of-a-kind experience that will live on in your memory forever. Check the dress code before making a reservation, and reserve as soon as you can.

Black Cat LES

In New York, I enjoy finding new coffee shops, and a few weeks ago, I came across this one. The Lower East Side is home to the welcoming and cozily decorated Black Cat LES coffee and tea shop. I think this location would be ideal if you want to spend Valentine's Day with a warm cup of coffee. They host entertaining events like stand-up comedy and movie evenings, which is a great choice if you want to spend time in a comfortable environment.

It was fun sharing some of my favorite places to go as, and I hope you have a great Valentine’s Day. P.S. If you're looking for the perfect bag to match your Valentine's Day outfit, check out our bags.
